Painting Pots and Sunshine!

Last weekend I went to The Pavilion Garden Centre near Cork Airport. It was my third time going there. All the plants are gorgeous. There's an amazing homestore with Cath Kidston and Green Gate stuff. And Burleigh China. Ugh I love it. And to top things off they have a really nice cafe. I must actually get onto them and ask for the recipe for their carrot cake, it's unbelievable. Really. I think they put pineapple or something in it...

A birdhouse for Spring!

Last Saturday in The Creativity Club we did a cute birdhouse mobile for spring. I realised that I'm so taken with the idea that the smallies do something different like printing with inks, sewing and beading that we hardly ever do simple colouring in!

Let's play Kitchen!

I love packaging. At Christmas I always keep the boxes that things come in, I have so much tissue paper, wrapping paper and different cartons and crates. I always think that I'll find a brilliant use for them. I recently acquired two large cardboard boxes. These two boxes would have been the stuff of dreams when I was about eight years old so I knew exactly what to do with them. Make a Play Kitchen!

Pop over for breakfast...

I love having a big breakfast. Its supposed to be the most important meal of the day. On weekdays I just about make it out the door to work with a yogurt on board and, if I'm organised, porridge. The story is the same on Saturdays, as I run The Creativity Club, so Sundays are my only opportunity for breakfasting like a king! Not that I need an excuse.
This Sunday I made Blueberry Popovers.
